So, as we all know, it has been a while since i have posted. Its been so long that I havent posted to tell you that my little boy Ry Guy has started school. Because of his speech, he tested into our neighborhood school, Anthem K-8 :) Not only that, but he gets to ride the bus. :) He is so excited! I am excited for him (not to mention I only have to get one kid, not all three kids dressed and ready for school that starts at 730am)
Anyway, he is doing really well, but I have to tell a super quick story that just makes me so proud to be his mom. So Tuesday was his first day riding the bus. He was so excited that we sat outside with our sweatshirts on, waiting and waiting and waiting, just so we wouldn't miss it. To break the silence after his morning spurt of energy wore off, i told him it was Earth Day. He however had no clue what that meant and so I tried to explain it to him. I had no clue whether he grasped it or not, but either way, he smiled and nodded. The bus came, and off he went. (To all the MacArthur alumni, do you remember all the things we did for Earth Day? Me and my sis were talking about the big huge celebrations we had where we planted trees and swayed with the whole entire school as we sung to Michael Jackson's "We are the World".... Do you remember? Funny how we stop singing and the world just seems to be falling apart. jk
Anyway, today, we are outside waiting for the bus and he noticed some trash that has blown into our yard. He jumps off the cable box and runs over to pick up every little piece of trash he sees. He reminds me, "Mom, remember!!??!? It's Earth Day!!!!".

Seems I have been a Slacker
So, it has been a month since my last post, and so much has happened!! I don't even know where to begin. So, these won't be in order of occurrence, just however they translate from my brain. Sorry!
Firstly, I am going back to school soon- Yay! I need to get myself back on track, so thats my first step.
Secondly, the kiddos are getting sooooo big. Dalee is out of her infant carrier car seat now. She got her big girl seat and wow does that make car rides sooo much better. The only bad thing that I have discovered from it is where to put three kids when you go to the store... ???? Here is what I came up with-
We also learned a valuable lesson lately- DO NOT GO TO THE ZOO ON SPRING BREAK/FIELD TRIP/ZOO CONCERT DAY!!!!! The boys and I met some friends at the Phoenix Zoo the other day, and it was busier than I have ever seen. We parked all the way on the north side od the parking lot, strollers could barely make there way down the side walk, and at every animal we saw, there was a heard of people and kids and strollers in front of us! CRAZY i TELL YA, crazy!!! We are going to try it again next week if anyone wants to join!
Steve stayed home with Dalee that day. <3
Also, I should probably mention what my kids are doing while I am posting on here...
They managed to dump over all my laundry, pick up Dalee, put her in here and have been pushing her around my tile floor for a good half hour already.
Also, this last weekend, Steve's parents and grandparents came over. It was Great Grandma and Grandpa Hoops first visit here and their first time meeting Dalee. :)
Now that the weather is just about perfect, we have been outside a ton. The boys absolutely love their Red Sox bikes! Ry has learned to ride with no training wheels, and Collin has finally mastered pedaling. Or shall I say Spiderman? :)
Seems like I have been at my whits end a lot lately, so I had to take a picture of my house clean, Collin playing nice with his sister, and Riley actually getting dressed like he is supposed to. This rarely happens, but now I have a pic to prove it!
(Kids ran out of things to do. I will finish posting tomorrow! Check back)

More Kleenex Please!
Seems like forever since I have posted on here- The whole family has taken turns being way sick with whatever this horrible thing is that is going around. :( (I couldn't even tell you how many boxes of Kleenex we have gone through, luckily they were Kleenex with Vicks in them. By far the Best Tissues Ever!) Anyway, just wanted to pop in, say hello, and hope that everyone either is over it already or hasn't gotten it yet!Take care, and I will post soon!

JUST A QUICK ONE...
So,I am cleaning and I keep passing my cat who is acting kind of weird, but I don't stop to see what she is doing. After about a half hour, I finally stop to look at her and she is playing with something hanging off of her face- batting it around like a cat toy. OK, have the mental picture? Anyway, at first i thought it was a cricket hanging on something. I got really close to realize that it was a huge nasty booger, coming out of her nose. Sick-o... I run to find my camera, run back to the computer and grab my SD card, run back to the cat, and its gone. Figures huh. However, she left it for me on the tile...

The Simpsons Movie
Has anyone seen the Simpsons Movie? I have not. However, the boys have and I keep hearing crazy scenes from Collin. First, the other day Collin goes on and on about how this little boy took his clothes off and skateboarded and he saw his pee pee and his butt... I had no clue what he was talking about and then he told me the boy was yellow- Sure enough, it was good ol Bart Simpson. Then, this morning we were playing baby block stacker toys and he built this "thing". He said to me, "mom, look, a bee thing". I looked over and said "what?" Again he said, a bee thing. A BEE HOUSE!" Sure enough, it was a bee hive! He then finishes the conversation with "lets go put it in the mailbox". Riley told me that sure enough, "they put a bee house in the mailbox, but no bees". Nice huh?
